Shaping A Collaborative Future with our Supply Chain Partners

Ben Tessone | November 2024

Forging stronger relationships with our valued suppliers is key to building a successful future for the memory and storage industry in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This critical partnership was the central focus of our recent Micron Supplier Day. Together with more than 250 senior level representatives from over 100 of the most influential suppliers in the semiconductor industry, we explored what AI means for our industry and its potential to drive multiyear growth in our collective businesses. The opportunity for memory and storage as part of the proliferation of AI is very real and it is unfolding right before our eyes. With the support of our supply chain, Micron is prepared for this opportunity with the strongest competitive positioning in its 46-year history.

During our 2024 Supplier Day, we talked about how capturing the opportunities ahead will take close collaboration with our suppliers to enable the flawless high-volume production of our most advanced tech nodes and packaging of our leading-edge products, while supporting the construction and operationalization of our new memory fabs and Assembly and Test facilities in the U.S. and Asia. As we grow to meet the increasing demand in our markets, we must do so responsibly for both our planet and communities. Micron Supplier Day was also about strengthening our commitment to reducing emissions and increasing our spend with diverse-owned businesses throughout our global supply chain.

I am confident the tremendous momentum we have built together with our suppliers will continue delivering innovations in memory and storage to unleash the opportunity of AI and enrich life for all.

And to recognize our suppliers who have demonstrated their commitment to deliver above and beyond in their partnership with Micron, we continue to honor our top performing suppliers across the business with the Micron Supplier Awards . These 12 supply chain partners have delivered real impact to supporting Micron’s business and we are pleased to recognize their outstanding achievements.

Supplier Day 2024 was a testament to the strong partnerships that we have forged with our suppliers over many years, and it is clear to me that these bonds are even stronger today.
